LightShiftingÔ : The Process of Returning "Home"
Help others to become aware of Truth and assist them in transforming themselves and others so the spiritual evolutionary process of the human race can unfold on planet Earth.
How is This done:
Title: LightShiftingÔ : Exposing Society's Shadow
In this workshop, we will discuss the various ways in which our current social system no longer serves us as we work towards liberating ourselves from fear and evolve into a more spiritual society. We will discuss how current systems create, and then hold us in bondage to a "fear and shame based control system" which we need to break free of if we are to become more autonomous & self-actualized beings. In short, Dan assists us in moving from the "darkness" into greater "Light" by inspiring us to work with Spirit to "turn the ship around" and set ourselves and others free from the current fear/control based system and develop one that honors and nurtures our innate creativity & talents.
Dan Hunt is a human who resides on planet Earth and is assisting us in our transition though his own wisdom received by pondering his past experiences. Dan simply serves as "LightShifter" to help expose "The Light" so we can once again return to a conscious path on our own spiritual evolution. He does this by serving as a "channel of Truth".
Hints Of An Abusive Society:
Shame is a core tactic of the abusive dominance of our society.
We are Shamed into believing:
When we believe we are inept, unworthy, and inferior, it's not very likely that we're going to be able to trust ourselves to guide ourselves towards our goals. We are even called "dreamers" for trying to pursue our goals! How inspiring! Our spirits are broken not nurtured (even when we are children!).
In order to become free of this negative conditioning, it's imperative we find advocates who can support us. This was essentially what tribes did for native Americans. The entire group supported the person. It was not left up to the feeble efforts of an already abberated/dsyfunctional family unit which instead of nurturing the individual to accomplish their goals, uses intimidation tactics & thinks that using fear and shame as motivators inspires one to achieve...
Though intimidation may appear to work on the outside as people do actually become motivated, beneath this motivation is a self-doubt, a belief that indeed one may be "inferior". This keeps one "thrashing" inside which is why so many of us find it so difficult to sit still.
On the other hand, support groups come together to validate each other and support each other through their difficulties. They don't (or at least are not suppose to) knock each other down. Instead of being "competitive", these groups are supporting and cooperative. This nurturing is required to overcome the negative conditioning we inherited from this abusively competitive society. When we feel good about ourselves and feel capable, we don't become depressed. Instead we become inspired to pursue our goals enthusiastically. We can then sit still & feel good about ourselves instead of constantly "thrashing" and using alcohol, drugs or other escape mechanisms in an attempt to avoid our depression & sense of inferiority.
Women have pretty much always been allowed to come together to support each other. Men however have been looked upon as "weak" if they did. The whole idea that men need to fight and protect and be warriors dates back all the way to cavemen days and is no longer valid in today's society. RAISING BOYS TO BE SOLDIERS AND COMPETITIVE IS A CORE ISSUE IN OUR ABUSIVE SOCIETY AND HAS CREATED MORE "MONSTERS" (ADDICTS/EMOTIONALLY ILL) THAN PROBABLY ANY OTHER MISCONCEPTION.
SHARE MY OWN SHAMING/INVALIDATION THAT WAS DONE TO ME THEN
GO AROUND THE ROOM ASKING PEOPLE IN WHICH WAY THEY WERE SHAMED OR INVALIDATED AS CHILDREN.
Why is it that society doesn't get the message? Why doesn't it do something about it's abusive way and see how it's creating addicts, depressives, criminals, and a wide array of monsters by this continual abusive treatment? Why aren't there more stringent laws against degrading people? Why aren't we teaching our children to co-operate by creating together instead of compete by needlessly competing against each other in "sports"?
As long as we fear dominance and base our lives upon competition, we will not see world peace.
